How to read these part numbers

Switches are listed by model with port count, port speed and media, plus the supplied power and fan modules where these form part of the unit. `N9K-C93180YC-EX` with `2xNXA-PAC-650W-PE` and `4xNXA-FAN-30CFM-F` is a forty-eight-port switch supplied with two 650W supplies and four fan modules. Airflow direction matters and is encoded in the fan part number — port-side intake and port-side exhaust are different parts.

Ordering notes

Confirm airflow direction against the hot aisle layout, because fan modules are directional and a switch installed against the airflow will run hot. Confirm the licence tier where the platform enforces one, as feature sets differ. Optics are frequently vendor-coded: state the switch platform when ordering transceivers or direct-attach cables so the correct coding is supplied.

Lifecycle and availability

Switching hardware is supplied new, new-old-stock or refurbished, with condition stated per line. Software licences and support contracts are not transferable with refurbished hardware and are not included.

Equipment condition

New — factory-sealed, supplied through the manufacturer's own channel or a qualified distributor, with full manufacturer warranty.

New surplus — unused factory stock, original packaging where available, sourced from decommissioned projects or distributor inventory. Manufacturer warranty may have lapsed; CRS PLUS warranty applies.

Refurbished / tested — previously deployed equipment, cleaned, firmware-checked and functionally tested against the manufacturer's specification before shipment. CRS PLUS warranty applies.
