A tested equivalent when the exact part number is no longer available
Some part numbers cannot be found in the quantity a project needs. Our engineers propose a configuration that delivers the same function from parts that are available, and state the trade-offs in writing before you commit.
What we do
- Review the requested part number, its band, power and interface specification
- Identify equivalent units, later revisions or two-unit combinations that match the function
- Confirm compatibility with the installed baseband, software release and site power budget
- Provide a written substitution note with condition, warranty and lead time per line
- Supply partial quantities now and the balance as further stock is located, under separate purchase orders
How it is charged
Engineering review is included in the quotation for orders placed with CRS PLUS. For stand-alone studies, a fixed engagement fee is agreed in advance and credited against a subsequent order.
