How to read these part numbers

The mnemonic prefix tells you the part family: ASFA and FMND are fan units, FMFA and FPKA/FPKC are mounting kits (the trailing letter and any numeric range like 30-120mm gives the pole diameter it clamps to), AMBI/AMBF are book-mount brackets for stacking radios back to back, and BLIND/AMGD/AMGC/AMFF are filler and cover panels for unused cabinet slots. AirScale parts (AM- and AS- prefixes) fit the current cabinet generation; Flexi parts (FM- and FP- prefixes) fit the older Flexi BTS line.

Ordering notes

Give the mnemonic code if you have it (from the part label or Nokia documentation) as well as the cabinet or radio model — the mnemonic alone can be ambiguous across AirScale sub-variants. State the pole diameter for mounting kits. Condition is stated per quotation — new, new-surplus or refurbished — and where a destination does not admit used network equipment (Algeria is the usual example) we quote new. Hardware only: software licensing remains between the buyer and the manufacturer. Destination type approval and import permits (CST/SABER, TDRA, ICASA, CA, CMC, ARPCE) are the buyer's responsibility and we will say so on the quotation.

Lifecycle and availability

AirScale-family parts (AM-/AS- prefix) remain in production; Flexi-family parts (FM-/FP- prefix) are increasingly refurbished or pulled-unit stock as Nokia phases out the older platform in favour of AirScale.

Equipment condition

New — factory-sealed, supplied through the manufacturer's authorised channel or an authorised distributor, with full manufacturer warranty.

New surplus — unused factory stock, original packaging where available, sourced from decommissioned projects or distributor inventory. Manufacturer warranty may have lapsed; CRS PLUS warranty applies.

Refurbished / tested — previously deployed equipment, cleaned, firmware-checked and functionally tested against the manufacturer's specification before shipment. CRS PLUS warranty applies.

Condition is confirmed in writing on every quotation before you commit to an order.

Where equipment is supplied new through an authorised channel, the manufacturer's warranty applies and is passed to you.
