Huawei RRU3929 — 1800 MHz remote radio unit (02310CJV)
The RRU3929 is an earlier-generation multi-mode radio from the DBS3900 family, configurable for GSM, UMTS or LTE FDD by software. It remains in service widely, but it carries one limitation that rules it out of newer deployments and is easy to miss on a quote.

Before you order
CPRI tops out at 4.9 Gbit/s. Any design that assumes a 9.8 Gbit/s fronthaul cannot use this radio. It is also the heaviest two-branch unit in its class at 23.5–25 kg, against 14 kg for an RRU3959 on the same band.
