The 3DB18634AB is the MPT Access plug-in card (MPT-ACC) for the MSS indoor unit of the Alcatel-Lucent 9500 MPR microwave system, now supported by Nokia under the Wavence name. It connects up to two MPT outdoor units to the MSS and powers them over the same Ethernet cable, and it is a frequently requested spare for 9500 MPR networks still in service.

The 9500 MPR MSS card family
The MSS is the indoor half of the split-mount 9500 MPR: MSS-8 (2RU, 8 slots), MSS-4 (1RU, 4 slots), the half-unit MSS-1 and the outdoor MSS-O. The trailing letters of a 3DB code are a revision: tell us the full code on the label of the card being replaced.
