Ericsson Baseband 6630 — KDV127621/11
The Baseband 6630 is a self-contained 1U multi-standard baseband unit — GSM through NR on one box, with fifteen CPRI ports and its own environmental control. Functionally it is the Baseband 5216 in standalone form, and that is the comparison that matters commercially: the 5216 needs an RBS 6000 chassis, a Main Unit 6601 and often an R503 to reach the same port count, and that stack draws more than 50 W more.

Ericsson’s own sources give three different depths for this unit — 383 mm on the product datasheet, 358 mm in the Baseband Description, and “under 352 mm” in the commercial presentation. If you are planning rack depth, use the largest figure and confirm with the supplier.
Equipment condition
