Huawei UBBPd6 — universal baseband processing unit
The UBBPd6 sits at the top of Huawei’s d-series and is the board most often specified for multi-RAT sites that still carry GSM. It handles GSM, UMTS, LTE FDD and LTE TDD on one card, fits every BBU from the 3900 to the 5910, and is the only d-series board with LTE TDD support at all. For operators refarming spectrum while keeping 2G alive, that combination is the reason this board is still moving on the secondary market.

Before you order
Against the UBBPd5 directly below it: the d6 adds LTE TDD, which the d5 does not have at all. It also doubles UMTS capacity and LTE throughput and carries 48 GSM carriers against 36. If a quote offers a d5 as an equivalent, it is not one.
Equipment condition
New — factory-sealed, supplied through the manufacturer's authorised channel or an authorised distributor, with full manufacturer warranty.
New surplus — unused factory stock, original packaging where available, sourced from decommissioned projects or distributor inventory. Manufacturer warranty may have lapsed; CRS PLUS warranty applies.
Refurbished / tested — previously deployed equipment, cleaned, firmware-checked and functionally tested against the manufacturer's specification before shipment. CRS PLUS warranty applies.
