Ericsson MINI-LINK microwave equipment

MINI-LINK is the other half of the region's mobile backhaul, and it has been in service long enough that two full generations are live at once: the MINI-LINK TN split-mount system with its AMM magazines and plug-in units, and the MINI-LINK 6000 all-outdoor and indoor units that replaced it. Operators come to us for TN plug-ins and RAU2 X outdoor units that Ericsson no longer sells, and for 6352 and 6363 radios in volume when a rollout outpaces the contract. We source both generations and state condition per line.

How to read these part numbers

MINI-LINK 6000 model numbers give the form factor: 63xx are all-outdoor radios (6352, 6363, 6366; 6371 is E-band), 66xx are indoor units (6651, 6654, 6691, 6693). MINI-LINK TN is a magazine — AMM 2p, 6p or 20p by slot count — populated with plug-in units named by function: NPU is the node processor, MMU the modem, ETU Ethernet, LTU line termination for E1, PFU power, FAU fan. RAU2 X is the outdoor unit family, always ordered by frequency band and sub-band, with RAU2 N and RAU1 N the narrowband predecessors. Ericsson product numbers use KRC, ROJ and NTM prefixes and are the ordering reference where quoted.

Ordering notes

For TN plug-ins state the magazine, the unit name, the revision state (R-state) on the label and the software release. For an RAU replacement send the label — band, sub-band, high/low side. For 6000-series radios state the model, the band and sub-band, the capacity licence level you hold and the indoor unit it pairs with. For a new link give both ends and the path. Spectrum licensing is the operator's. Condition is stated per quotation — new, new-surplus or refurbished — and where a destination does not admit used network equipment (Algeria is the usual example) we quote new. Hardware only: software licensing remains between the buyer and the manufacturer. Destination type approval and import permits (CST/SABER, TDRA, ICASA, CA, CMC, ARPCE) are the buyer's responsibility and we will say so on the quotation.

Lifecycle and availability

MINI-LINK TN and RAU2 X are end-of-sale and supplied refurbished or new-surplus with CRS PLUS warranty. MINI-LINK 6352, 6363, 6366, 6651 and 6691 remain current and are sourced new or new-surplus. Capacity licences on 6000-series radios are between the buyer and Ericsson.

Equipment condition

New — factory-sealed, supplied through the manufacturer's authorised channel or an authorised distributor, with full manufacturer warranty.

New surplus — unused factory stock, original packaging where available, sourced from decommissioned projects or distributor inventory. Manufacturer warranty may have lapsed; CRS PLUS warranty applies.

Refurbished / tested — previously deployed equipment, cleaned, firmware-checked and functionally tested against the manufacturer's specification before shipment. CRS PLUS warranty applies.

Condition is confirmed in writing on every quotation before you commit to an order.

Warranty

Warranty terms vary by item, by condition and by the supplier the equipment is sourced from. They are stated in writing on the quotation, per line item, before you commit to an order.

Where equipment is supplied new through an authorised channel, the manufacturer's warranty applies and is passed to you.
