Zhone XGS-PON/GPON combo OLT SFP+ optic
Zhone Technologies was a US access and broadband equipment vendor that merged with South Korea's DASAN Network Solutions in 2016 to form DASAN Zhone Solutions, later renamed DZS Inc. The Zhone name continues on legacy access hardware and on optics sold for DZS OLT platforms. This item is a combo PON optic that serves both GPON and XGS-PON subscribers from a single SFP+ port on the OLT line card, letting an operator migrate a port from GPON to XGS-PON without a card swap.
How to read these part numbers
"Combo" means the optic carries both GPON wavelengths (1490nm downstream / 1310nm upstream) and XGS-PON wavelengths (1577nm downstream / 1270nm upstream) in one module; "C+" denotes its optical budget class. The "-I" suffix commonly denotes an industrial operating temperature rating rather than standard commercial range.

Ordering notes
Confirm the exact DZS/Zhone OLT chassis and line card model before ordering — combo optics must be supported by the specific line card firmware and PON generation in use. Condition is stated per quotation as new, new-surplus or refurbished. Hardware only: PON licensing and OLT software entitlements remain between the buyer and the manufacturer. Destination type approval and import permits (CST/SABER, TDRA, ICASA, CA, CMC, ARPCE) are the buyer's responsibility and we will confirm this on the quotation.
