Ericsson rectifiers, power supply units and site power
Ericsson base stations draw their DC power either from power supply units inside the RBS cabinet or from a site power system built around rectifier modules, many of them Vertiv (Emerson) or Delta designs supplied under Ericsson BML product numbers. Enquiries are usually for a specific PSU AC unit for an RBS 6000 cabinet, or a rectifier module identified only by its BML code. This page lists the RBS 6000 and RBS 2000 power supply units, the BML-coded rectifiers with their original-manufacturer equivalents, and the Power 6000 series site power systems.
How to read these part numbers
Ericsson product numbers follow the BML / BMR / KRY scheme, with the revision after the slash (BML 901 341/1). The same rectifier can carry an Ericsson BML code and an original-manufacturer model: BML 440 033/1 is the Vertiv (Emerson) R48-2000e3, BML 901 450/1 the R48-3500e3, and BML 161 179/2 the Delta ESR-48/56A. Where both are known, either can be quoted against. PSU AC names (PSU AC 01, 02, 08…) are the module designations printed on the front panel and identify the RBS family the unit fits.

Ordering notes
Give the BML or BMR product number and revision from the label, and the RBS model the unit is installed in. For rectifiers carrying an Ericsson code, a unit under the original-manufacturer model is usually equivalent, and we will state on the quotation which is being supplied. Condition is stated per quotation — new, new-surplus or refurbished — and where a destination does not admit used network equipment (Algeria is the usual example) we quote new. Hardware only: software licensing remains between the buyer and the manufacturer. Destination type approval and import permits (CST/SABER, TDRA, ICASA, CA, CMC, ARPCE) are the buyer's responsibility and we will say so on the quotation.
Lifecycle and availability
RBS 6000 power supply units and the Vertiv-made BML rectifiers remain widely installed and are supplied new-surplus or refurbished; RBS 2000 units (PSU 230, PSU-AC-32) are legacy and surplus-only. The Power 6000 series is Ericsson's current site power range.
Equipment condition
New — factory-sealed, supplied through the manufacturer's own channel or a qualified distributor, with full manufacturer warranty.
New surplus — unused factory stock, original packaging where available, sourced from decommissioned projects or distributor inventory. Manufacturer warranty may have lapsed; CRS PLUS warranty applies.
Refurbished / tested — previously deployed equipment, cleaned, firmware-checked and functionally tested against the manufacturer's specification before shipment. CRS PLUS warranty applies.
Condition is confirmed in writing on every quotation before you commit to an order.

Where equipment is supplied new through the manufacturer's own channel, the manufacturer's warranty applies and is passed to you.

Is BML 440 033/1 the same as a Vertiv R48-2000e3?
Yes. It is the Vertiv (formerly Emerson) eSure R48-2000e3 rectifier supplied under an Ericsson product number. Vertiv's own NetSure 5100 Compact datasheet lists the module under both identifiers.
Which PSU fits an RBS 6601?
The PSU AC 02 (BML 901 250/1) is the AC power supply for the RBS 6601 outdoor unit, and the PSU AC 15 (BML 901 370/1) is listed for RBS 6601 GSM configurations. Give us the RBS configuration and we will confirm.
Do you supply Ericsson power distribution units?
Yes, on request. Give the BMG product number from the unit label and the RBS or site power system it belongs to.
