CommScope's Andrew-branded antenna line devices — RET actuators, RET controllers and the splitters and diplexers that share an antenna feed across bands — are the small, inexpensive parts that stop a site commissioning dead when the wrong one turns up. Buyers usually know the fault before they contact us: an actuator that will not respond to the controller, or a splitter port that has failed. We source the ATM200 and MDCU actuator families, ATC200/ATC300 controllers, and the S- and E-prefixed splitter and diplexer ranges.

How to read these part numbers

ATM200 and E-ATM300 are external RET actuators that mount on the antenna; MDCU is CommScope's internal actuator family built into the antenna itself, distinguished by a motor-position suffix (G0101, G0102, G0103) rather than a separate housing. ATC200 and ATC300 are the RET controllers that sit at the base of the tower and talk to actuators over the AISG bus — ATC300 adds port isolation and extra modem ports over ATC200. Splitters are read by way count and frequency range: S-2-UW covers 2-way, S-4-UW covers 4-way, both across the 555-6000MHz ultra-wideband range; E-prefixed parts are diplexers combining two bands onto one feed.

Ordering notes

Confirm the AISG protocol version your controller and actuators use (1.1 or 2.0/3GPP) before ordering, since a mismatch will not commission even though the connectors fit. State the antenna model the actuator mounts to if ordering an external ATM200/E-ATM300, or confirm the antenna's internal MDCU variant if replacing a built-in actuator. Condition is stated per quotation — new, new-surplus or refurbished — and where a destination does not admit used network equipment (Algeria is the usual example) we quote new. Hardware only: software licensing remains between the buyer and the manufacturer. Destination type approval and import permits (CST/SABER, TDRA, ICASA, CA, CMC, ARPCE) are the buyer's responsibility and we will say so on the quotation.

Lifecycle and availability

ATC300 and current MDCU actuator variants remain in production; ATM200 and ATC200 are increasingly supplied as surplus or refurbished as CommScope moves buyers to newer controller generations. Splitters and diplexers are stable, low-obsolescence parts and are sourced new or surplus interchangeably.

Equipment condition

New — factory-sealed, supplied through the manufacturer's authorised channel or an authorised distributor, with full manufacturer warranty.

New surplus — unused factory stock, original packaging where available, sourced from decommissioned projects or distributor inventory. Manufacturer warranty may have lapsed; CRS PLUS warranty applies.

Refurbished / tested — previously deployed equipment, cleaned, firmware-checked and functionally tested against the manufacturer's specification before shipment. CRS PLUS warranty applies.

Condition is confirmed in writing on every quotation before you commit to an order.

Where equipment is supplied new through an authorised channel, the manufacturer's warranty applies and is passed to you.
